As we progress through our lives,  we experience many changes. Some of these life changes are positive and planned, while others are negative and unplanned. Regardless, change is inevitable and can be very difficult to cope with. As a New York State Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I implement various methods  to help clients develop new coping strategies for life's challenges.

Brief Solution Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy are my preferred therapeutic approaches. I am able to work with a variety of individuals but my passion is working with women who are struggling with Anxiety, Depression and/or maternal mental health. Additionally, I have a strong background with specialized training in Chemical Dependency and enjoy working with these clients as well.

Facts about me:

• I graduated from Medaille College in 2011 (GPA 3.7) with a Masters of Arts in Mental Health Counseling

• I have been fully licensed as an LMHC in New York State since 11/2012, license #5320

• I have worked as both a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Chemical Dependency Counselor throughout the past 11 years

• I have been employed in inpatient, outpatient and Emergency Room settings

• I am a former college athlete (Cross Country)

• I enjoy traveling and consider myself a life long learner
